Los Amigos de San Jose has been established by the Archbishop of Santa Fe to sponsor and support the vibrant and growing ministry of San Jose parish. In fact, Archbishop Sheehan has pledged $500,000 toward the building of San Jose church. This money is part of a special fund that has been designated to support immigrant people. Tin addition, the people of San Jose parish have already raised $400,000 toward the first phase of the $3 million project. (Phase I includes the removal of the parish hall to make room for the new church, the construction for the new church which includes a gathering plaza and parking area).
